Family Game Night

This is for everyone who loves to play games, like our family. One of my favorite things in all the world is playing games with my family. Any of my family. I grew up in a home where game playing was a part of life. I remember one summer when I was about 12 where we played a game of Monopoly all summer long. Every day, after doing our chores we'd continue from where we were the day before. Hours later we'd put it away until the next day. I don't remember who won, only the fun of playing one game for sooooo long. It really was a lot of fun. I also remember playing a game called Probe, where the object was to guess what word the other person had spelled. You can learn more by going here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Probe_%28parlor_game%29. My 6 year old sister won when neither my mom nor I could guess her word, which was "dikshunery".

Of course, some of my memories are a like like the one you'll find at http://www.babyblues.com/archive/index.php?GoToDay=2006-04-23

So, if you're like me and my family, I found a link that might be fun for you and your family:

What I remember are all the games of Rummycube. I still have that set. Wanna come over for a game?

These days I can play it on the computer but it's not half as much fun that way.

Gus, any day now... We have a copy of that game too, in a box, somewhere in the basement. :)
